Cool2Care is a not-for-profit organisation helping families to look after disabled children and young adults. We pride ourselves in the successful placement of care-workers (also called personal assistants - PAs) with families throughout the UK.
We understand that your child has very special needs and therefore our pool of care-workers is trained to adapt to your child's requirements across a broad range of ages, disabilities and home circumstances. They are available to support you and your family whether it’s at home or out and about, for a few hours a week, during the holidays or full time care. As part of our service and commitment to you, we make sure that all potential care-workers are interviewed and screened before being CRB checked and undergoing our unique training course. We have face-to-face contact with all of our care-workers prior to placing them with a family. This way, we ensure that you receive the highest quality childcare, happy to entrust the care-worker with your disabled child.
To assist us in finding you a special needs nanny/personal assistant (PA), Cool2Care charge a one off placement fee, which in some areas is subsidised or covered by the local authority. There is no ongoing commission, so once employed; your money goes directly to the care-worker. Additionally, our service is compatible with Direct Payments. |

If you choose to find childcare through us, you can be sure that:
- We only recruit for disabled children and have extensive knowledge and experience of providing care for children with special needs.
- Our recruitment and training of care-workers is face-to-face
- All our care-workers undergo extensive screening and advanced CRB checks
- Understanding your needs and that of your child’s is essential to us - you specify the hours and type of care you need.
- You have the choice of care-worker from a suitable selection, introduced to you
- Ongoing support and advice will be offered to you and your care-worker.
- There is a one off, competitive and affordable placement fee, on finding a care-worker which in some areas is subsidised or fully covered by the local authority.
