Supporting Families
Families often have difficulties looking after disabled children. Providing assistance can help the family and be very rewarding. Much of the work is like any childcare - playing, feeding, getting a child ready for bed.

However, there are often special tasks required for disabled children. These might include spoon-feeding an older child, lifting the child with the parent, using specialised equipment or helping the child enjoy music and painting. Teenagers or young adults might want help to be taken out, surf the Internet, or even set up their iPod!

Every child is different and needs appropriate help and support, which takes patience and dedication. Your support can bring joy and new learning skills to these children, while providing valuable assistance and short breaks for parents.

Terms & Conditions
Cool2Care will organise your education and placement with a family.

As an introductory agency, Cool2Care simply links families and care-workers and charges the family a placement fee. Cool2Care doesn't employ care-workers directly - each care-worker contracts directly with a family, as would a nanny. This means 100% of the salary paid by the family goes to the care-worker.

There is no ongoing fee taken by the agency. Salaries will vary by area and by family, depending on the specific work required.
